Catogories Of Temporary Visa:

• (a)  Visitor Visa: A visitor visa is issued to a person who intends to visit a foreign country on a temporary basis. The applicant has to produce adequate evidence to prove that he has arranged for the financial support required during the stay. The applicant may also be asked to provide the confirm return air tickets to the home country after his stay.

• (b)  Tourist Visa: This type of visa is issued to a person who goes abroad for touring purpose. The visa requirement in this case is almost the same as that of visitor visa.

• (c)  Business Visa: These visas are issued to businessmen who intend to visit foreign countries for business purpose. Most of the countries require amongst other documents, a letter of invitation from a business firm in the host country for the issuance of a business visa.

• (d)  Work Visa: Work visa are issued to those persons who have got job in foreign country.

Individuals traveling for Business purpose can show a letter from the Business firm indicating the purpose of trip, the bearer's intended length of stay and the firm's intent to defray travel costs. Person traveling for the pleasure may use the letter from relatives or friends whom applicant plans to visit.

The applicants must provide sufficient funds to support themselves or must present convincing evidence that he has got the support from a Sponsor, applicant's may provide other evidence substantiating the trip's purpose and specifying the nature of binding obligations, such as family ties or employment references.

To apply for a Tourism purpose following documents are required:

1. Fully complete and signed application form

2. One recent passport size photograph.

3. Original valid passport with (6) months validity from the date of departure.

4. Original documentation of sufficient funds to cover length of stay (Bank book(s)/Bank certificate(s)), plus one photocopy of all such documentation.

Visa Fee: The fees could differ for citizens of different countries. Visa fee once received is not refunded even if the visa application is withdrawn or visa not granted. The visa fee is different for different countries.

Processing Time: Every country is different. Some have very rigid guidelines regarding the length of time to process while the speed with which others a process visa is solely determined by their current workload.
